Text simplification
PeTeS (Personalized Text Simplification) is a research-based reading intervention that helps students better understand complex texts by using AI to simplify language and build comprehension through targeted pre-reading activities. We’re partnering with schools to pilot and refine PeTeS—join us in creating a more accessible, engaging reading experience for diverse learners in Grades 3–12.
Background knowledge builder
Capti’s Background Knowledge Builder (BKB) is a research-based project developing AI-powered tools that help teachers create engaging, vocabulary-rich reading lessons tailored to students’ needs. We’re partnering with schools and educators to pilot and refine BKB in real classrooms—join us to shape an innovative solution that builds knowledge, boosts reading comprehension, and supports diverse learners across grades 3–12.
Scenario-based assessments
Capti SBA (scenario-based assessments) is a research-based project designed to create culturally responsive, scenario-based reading assessments that reflect real-world tasks and 21st-century skills. We’re partnering with educators to pilot these innovative assessments in classrooms—join us in shaping the future of reading comprehension testing.
STARI digitization
Capti STARI Digitization is a research-driven project to bring the proven STARI reading intervention online—combining fluency, assessment, and instructional components into one accessible, easy-to-use platform. We’re partnering with schools and educators to test and refine this digital solution, helping middle-grade students improve comprehension and reading outcomes through engaging, data-informed instruction.
