You can rest assured knowing that the reports deliver information from a psychometrically sound assessment grounded in the science of reading.

Reports and measures

Group reports

The report categorizes students into Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) groups based on their performance data, enabling educators to identify those needing targeted interventions or intensive support.

The group growth report offers a detailed snapshot of students' reading abilities in each skill across benchmark periods, facilitating comparisons between students' performance at the beginning-of-year (BOY), middle-of-year (MOY), and end-of-year (EOY), as well as seasonally-adjusted year-over-year growth.

Analyze performance data for students across a district, school, or class. Effortlessly compare schools, grades, classes, or demographic groups to identify underperforming students or skill gaps and determine groups requiring additional assessments.

The table is highly customizable: hide specific subtests, adjust the report timeframe, select benchmark periods, and choose comparison criteria, including completion status, scale score bands, or RTI tiers.

Review student performance statistics in each reading skill for a district, a school, a class, or a custom student group. Use it to view:

  • Scale score bands
  • RTI tier recommendations
  • Assessment completion status

Review performance of students in a selected district, school, class, or a demographic group. You can:

  • Sort students by performance in a specific reading skill or by the Lexile reading measure
  • Hover mouse over scores for a quick glance at more data
  • Spot outdated results by looking for underlined cells
  • Click on a student’s name to investigate in depth.

Export data to a PDF or EXCEL file, with over 160 data columns to choose from. You can export:

Scale score

Scale score ranges from 190-310. The score is vertically scaled and integrated across grades 3-12 to allow for cross-grade score comparisons. The scale is split into performance quadrants: weak, low average, high average, and strong.

Grade equivalent score

The grade equivalent score describes a student's performance in relation to the performance of typical students at a specific grade level. The scores are split into 3 bands: at or above grade level, 1 grade level below, and 2+ grade levels below.

Lexile® reading measure

A Lexile reading measure provides a numeric representation of a student’s reading ability that can be used to match readers with texts or compare student’s performance across reading assessments from different providers.
