Session Overview
This informative session equips educators and instructional leaders with the tools to leverage ReadBasix, a research-based assessment, to diagnose and address foundational reading skills needs for readers in Grades 3-12. Participants will explore ReadBasix’s purpose in identifying skill gaps—across Word Recognition and Decoding, Vocabulary, Morphology, Sentence Processing, Reading Efficiency, and Reading Comprehension—and learn how to use subtest data to inform targeted instruction and interventions.
Session Format
The session guides attendees through administering ReadBasix via the Capti platform, interpreting subtest scores and applying results to inform instruction.
